What Sets Us Apart Why Chose Duncan Family Farms

Organic Excellence

  • Certified organic with unmatched standards in quality and food safety.
  • We operate one of the largest privately run composting operations in the Southwest, allowing us to produce high-quality finished compost with precisely tailored mineral amendments. By applying these amendments at prescribed rates, we create nutrient-rich soils—our “secret sauce” for cultivating crops that are healthier, more resilient to pests and disease, and packed with superior nutrients.

Sustainability

  • Our practices protect and enhance the environment for future generations. Our team takes great pride in putting people, safety, and the environment first.
  • We go beyond stringent organic standards, and we do our part every day to leave the environment in the best condition possible. All our farms are Sustainably Grown Certified by SCS Global Service.

Community Impact

At Duncan Family Farms®, giving back is at the heart of what we do. We proudly support local schools, partner with food banks, and donate fresh produce to strengthen food security in our community. In the mid-1990s, we helped launch the Statewide Gleaning Project, which became a model for farms nationwide, donating over a million pounds of fresh produce each season to Arizona food banks. Today, we continue this legacy through a farm-to-school program, providing affordable, organic produce to local high schools, and by donating fresh products to nonprofit organizations that feed families in need.

Meet the team The People Behind the Produce

Our team is the heart of Duncan Family Farms. From our irrigation crews working around the clock to our Food Safety team ensuring every acre is pre-harvest sampled for pathogens, we are all committed to our mission.
